    This hat is AMAZING. Exact quality and authenticity as expected if purchase in Russia. Leather is tough and fur is warm. sub-zero temps?? Nope!

    Make sure you measure your head, don’t guess! I measured 1/2” above my eyebrows and across the top portion of my ears so that my ear tops are covered at all times. My Ushanka fits perfectly. I’ve wanted a black Ushanka ever since the 60’s and now at

    I’ve wanted a black Ushanka ever since the 60’s and now at 60 I finally purchased one. This all Black Ushanka is everything I expected it to be. Saturday morning we had 24 degree Fahrenheit while I was out working my dogs and my head stayed comfortable.

    I do really like these hat although you do have to watch the size you orde. I have ordered two hats from zavelio the first one was the 5 panel sheepskin hat size XL and it fits me just right, so I ordered the sheepskin Russian Ushanka Fur Hat in the same size XL big mistake the ushanka was to big so check your sizing.

    It’s size is a little big with flaps up but it is usual. The hat is amazingly designed and handcrafted very well, the leather is nice, thick and soft providing good instillation, padding and aesthetic. The fur is a true solid black color, it continues from the flaps all the way to the inside, keeping it very warm. It looks high quality and feels high quality. I made a mistake when I ordered by putting in my wrong zip code, I emailed them and they changed the zip code and responded in less than 5 minuets. The shipping time was only a few days which was incredible being it came from Turkey. I never write reviews but this experience was so enjoyable I wanted others to know. It’s so rare to find a ushanka that actually looks good.
