    Fine quality and wool to boot! I would take wool insulation over any animal fur for warmth. It just does not get better. This is a fine quality hat too. I sized this hat one size up from what I measure because I wanted to be "snuggly". I also have another slightly different Ushanka hat from Zavelio sized correctly and it fits fine, but I wanted just a bit more air insulation under the wool. The other hat is my "going out" hat and this one will be my working farm hat. I highly recommend their Ushanka hats!

    Michigan finally got cold enough to give my new hat a real test, and it passed with flying colors. This hat is really warm, without making me too hot while shoveling show and using a snowblower. At first, I was a little concerned about the gap between my cheeks and side flaps, but the hat is so warm, my face wasn't cold at all. This hat really does ship from Turkey, and the workmanship is excellent. I will definitely be purchasing from Zevelio again. I wish that they would make mittens.
